1. Vendor Registration and Eligibility
1.1 Registration Requirements
To register as a vendor on BookMe, you must:
Be a legally registered business or individual authorized to provide car rental services in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Possess all required licenses, permits, and insurance for car rental operations
Provide accurate and complete business information during registration
Maintain a valid bank account for receiving payments
Be at least 18 years of age if registering as an individual
1.2 Verification Process
BookMe reserves the right to:
Verify your identity and business credentials
Request additional documentation to confirm eligibility
Reject applications that do not meet our requirements
Periodically review and re-verify vendor accounts
1.3 Account Security
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying BookMe immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach
2. Vehicle Listings and Availability
2.1 Vehicle Information
You agree to:
Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about your vehicles
Upload clear, representative images of each vehicle
Specify accurate pricing, features, and availability
Update vehicle information promptly when changes occur
List only vehicles that you legally own or are authorized to rent
2.2 Availability Management
You are responsible for:
Maintaining accurate availability calendars for all listed vehicles
Promptly updating availability when a vehicle is booked through other channels
Honoring all bookings made through the platform
2.3 Pricing and Fees
You have control over setting your base rental rates
You may offer discounts and special promotions through the platform
BookMe charges a commission on completed bookings as specified in your vendor agreement
All prices must be listed in KM (Convertible Mark) and include applicable VAT
3. Booking Process and Obligations
3.1 Booking Acceptance
Bookings made through the platform are automatically accepted if the vehicle shows as available
You may not reject bookings for discriminatory or unlawful reasons
Cancellation of confirmed bookings may result in penalties as outlined in Section 3.3
3.2 Vendor Obligations
For each booking, you agree to:
Provide the exact vehicle booked or an equivalent or superior vehicle
Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled according to your stated policy, and in safe operating condition
Conduct proper handover and return procedures with customers
Provide all necessary documentation and instructions to the customer
Honor all features and amenities advertised in your listing
3.3 Cancellations and Penalties
If you cancel a confirmed booking, you may be subject to penalties including:
Compensation to the affected customer
Payment of rebooking fees if the customer books an alternative vehicle
Reduction in your vendor rating
Temporary suspension of your listing(s) for repeated cancellations
Force majeure events may be considered for penalty exemptions at BookMe's discretion
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Payment Processing
All payments from customers are processed through BookMe's payment system
BookMe will remit your portion of the payment according to the schedule in your vendor agreement
Payments are subject to the deduction of platform commission and any applicable taxes
4.2 Taxes and Reporting
You are responsible for reporting and remitting all applicable taxes on your rental income
BookMe will provide transaction records to assist with your tax reporting
You must provide accurate tax identification information to BookMe
4.3 Refunds and Disputes
Refunds to customers will be processed according to your cancellation policy
In case of disputes, BookMe reserves the right to mediate and make final decisions
BookMe may withhold payments during dispute resolution
5. Insurance and Liability
5.1 Required Insurance
You must maintain:
Valid and adequate insurance for all listed vehicles
Third-party liability insurance as required by law
Any additional insurance specified in your vendor agreement
5.2 Liability
You are solely responsible for any damages, injuries, or losses arising from the rental of your vehicles
You agree to indemnify and hold BookMe harmless from any claims arising from your rental services
BookMe does not assume liability for the condition of your vehicles or the actions of renters
6. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
You agree to:
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to car rental services
Maintain all required licenses, registrations, and permits
Follow tax reporting and payment obligations
Adhere to consumer protection laws and fair business practices
Comply with data protection and privacy laws
7. Platform Rules and Standards
7.1 Communication Standards
All communications with customers must be conducted through the BookMe platform
You must respond to booking inquiries and customer messages within 24 hours
Communications must be professional, respectful, and non-discriminatory
7.2 Review and Rating System
Customers may leave reviews and ratings of your services
You may respond to reviews but may not offer incentives for positive reviews
BookMe reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our content policies
Your vendor rating affects your visibility and ranking on the platform
7.3 Prohibited Activities
You may not:
Manipulate prices to avoid platform fees
Redirect customers to book outside the platform
Discriminate against customers based on protected characteristics
Engage in deceptive or misleading practices
Violate the intellectual property rights of others
8. Term and Termination
8.1 Term
These Terms remain in effect for the duration of your vendor relationship with BookMe.
8.2 Termination by Vendor
You may terminate your vendor account by:
Providing 30 days' written notice to BookMe
Completing all pending bookings or making alternative arrangements for customers
Settling all outstanding fees and payments
8.3 Termination by BookMe
BookMe may suspend or terminate your account:
For violations of these Terms
For consistently low ratings or poor customer service
For fraudulent or illegal activity
At our discretion, with or without cause, with 30 days' notice
8.4 Effects of Termination
Upon termination:
Your vehicle listings will be removed from the platform
You must complete any bookings confirmed prior to termination
You will receive final payment for completed bookings, minus applicable fees
You must cease using all BookMe intellectual property
9. Modifications to Terms
BookMe reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the vendor portal. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
10. General Provisions
10.1 Intellectual Property
BookMe owns all intellectual property rights related to the platform
You grant BookMe a license to use your business name, logo, and vehicle images for promotional purposes
You may use BookMe's name and logo only as permitted in writing
10.2 Confidentiality
You agree to maintain the confidentiality of any non-public information about BookMe's business, technology, or operations.
10.3 Independent Contractor Status
You are an independent contractor, not an employee or agent of BookMe
Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship
10.4 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Small claims may be resolved in local courts where permitted by law
10.5 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
