It is very rare for a car rental company to be unable to confirm the availability of a vehicle. If this happens, we will notify you and your reservation will be canceled.
When you book a vehicle or other product on our website, we will send you an email to confirm its availability within 48 hours of booking (or, if earlier, at least 24 hours before the vehicle is picked up). We will then send you a booking confirmation.
You will not receive a contract until we confirm your reservation and receive a rental payment guarantee. Correspondence will be sent in full to the address entered when making the reservation. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these provisions entitles any third party to any benefit.
When picking up a rented vehicle, it is necessary to show the voucher / electronic voucher of the Carsreservation.com platform to the company or the person responsible for renting the vehicle. We cannot be held responsible for refusing to rent if you do not show the voucher / electronic voucher (booking confirmation).
We cannot accept responsibility for any changes that have occurred due to the signing and acceptance of documentation in the car rental office.
We do not take responsibility for anyone who drives under the influence of alcohol / drugs, recklessly causes damage, drives off the intended road or drives without due care. You are obliged to take full responsibility in the event of such damage.
Certain car rental companies require you to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel it contained in the tank upon collection. Other companies have fuel rules that require you to refuel the tank for the first time and return the vehicle with an empty fuel tank; in which case you may not get a refund for unused fuel.
If a car rental company charges for fuel, the cost may be higher than it would be at a local gas station.
Calculation of daily price / rental period / rental extension period / late return of the vehicle
The price of your car rental will be confirmed at the time of booking and will be calculated based on 24-hour units. If you wish to extend the rental period after picking up the vehicle or if you return the vehicle after the time specified on your voucher / electronic voucher, a contract for such extension is always concluded directly with the rental company and the rental company charges additional rental time according to the local daily price. may be higher than the price you agreed with us when making the reservation. The car rental company may charge an additional fine for late return of the vehicle, and information on any additional fees can be found in your contract with the car rental company.
If you cancel within 48 hours before the time of picking up the vehicle, the refund you paid will be refunded, but the amount will be reduced by the price of 3 days of car rental:
if you have booked the vehicle for less than 3 days, no additional fee will be charged, but you will not receive a refund.
If you do not show up on the agreed date and time and / or if you do not provide all the necessary documentation and / or if you do not provide a credit card owned by the main driver and on which sufficient funds are available to pay the vehicle deposit, the car rental company may refuse to rent you a vehicle. In that case:
if you call us from the branch, you will receive a refund, but the amount will be reduced by the price of 3 days of rent
if you do not call us from the branch you will not receive a refund.
If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance, but before the agreed start of the rental, the refund you paid will be refunded, but the amount will be reduced either by the value of the deposit or by the price of 3 days of rental, whichever is greater.
If you have booked the vehicle for less than 3 days, no additional fee will be charged, but you will not receive a refund.

There is no charge for changing a reservation, but any changes you make may affect the rental price. Sometimes (not often) we can change a reservation just by first canceling it and then making a new one; in that case it is possible to charge a cancellation fee on behalf of the car rental company.
When booking a vehicle, it is necessary to inform our contact center about any negative violation points on the driver's license; we reserve the right to refuse a reservation on this basis in accordance with the terms and conditions of the car rental company with which we cooperate.
Each driver with a driver's license in the new format of the photo identification document must also provide the appropriate paper version of the document at the car rental office.
When taking over the vehicle, each driver should present his driver's license. In addition, he must have a driver's license with him at all times during the rental period for inspections carried out by local authorities.
No refund will be made if the car rental company refuses to deliver the vehicle due to unreported negative misdemeanor points – or because you are unable to provide a driver’s license, its equivalent document or the necessary information on negative misdemeanor points.
Keep in mind that you may need an international driver’s license to drive abroad. The driver is obliged to check whether he / she needs an international driver's license. An international driver's license does not replace the application for a normal driving license: a driver's license owned by the main driver is still required to rent a vehicle and every driver who needs to have an international driver's license must have both documents with him at all times. If an international driver's license is required, you will not be able to pick up a rented vehicle without an international driver's license and your usual driver's license.
All drivers must read the terms and conditions of the vehicle rental company that delivers the vehicle to them before picking up the vehicle as certain companies and locations may have additional requirements.
Important information on exchange rates
Please note that due to exchange rate fluctuations, the amount charged on your credit card may differ from the price we charge when you agree to pay for a product or service. The difference (if any) will depend on changes in exchange rates during the period between the time of booking and the time the amount charged becomes visible on your credit card statement. Similarly, if we refund your account, we will pay you the exact amount originally charged – and we will not be responsible for any exchange rate fluctuations that cause you to receive a higher or lower refund amount than you expected.
We cannot guarantee a specific make or model of vehicle. The vehicle shown on your voucher / electronic voucher is intended solely as a guideline and the car rental company may instead deliver a different vehicle that is considered similar or superior.

Your rental of any vehicle is subject to the terms and conditions of the rental of the vehicle as determined by the rental company and the applicable laws of the state and / or federal state in which the rental in question is made. Therefore, you are subject to both our regulations and the provisions of the car rental company. We do not accept and will not be liable for any loss, damage, alteration, delay or alteration caused by civil conflicts, industrial disputes including air traffic control disputes, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, technical difficulties in transportation which it is impossible to avoid, by the closure or congestion of airports or ferry ports, the cancellation of scheduled flights or the financial failure of the airline.
You will submit an offer to purchase services as soon as you do so verbally or click on “Book Now”. This offer is accepted when we receive the required payment and make the voucher / electronic voucher available to you. In cases when we act as an intermediary in arranging a lease with a car rental company, we accept your offer as intermediaries on behalf of the car rental company.
We are liable for any losses you incur directly as a result of our breach of this Agreement if such losses constitute foreseeable consequences of our breach of contract. Losses are predictable if both you and we can consider them during the drafting of our contract. We are not responsible for indirect losses that occur as adverse effects of the principal loss or damage and that neither you nor we can predict; we are not liable, without limitation, for loss of earnings, loss of opportunity, loss of reputation or consequential losses, damages or expenses.
We are not solely or indirectly liable through the car rental company for any unsuccessful or delayed fulfillment of our obligations stated or in accordance with the subject reservation, voucher / electronic voucher, rental or terms and conditions, if and to the extent that this fulfillment is delayed, hindered. or prevented by force majeure, which is a name referring to any event beyond the reasonable control of the person concerned. In the event that the customer has made a reservation with a deposit and we provide him / her with a notice at least 7 days before taking over the vehicle, the customer will receive a refund of all previously paid amounts. In the event that we deliver a cancellation notice to the customer who paid the deposit within 7 days before taking over the vehicle, we will make a full refund of all previously paid amounts and cover other foreseeable losses incurred by the customer as a result of our breach of contract.
Prior to our acceptance of any reservation, purchase or order, verification of the submitted information may be requested. Unless otherwise provided by law or we expressly state otherwise, the price, tariff and availability of products or services are subject to change without notice. You agree that reservations, purchases and services are subject to additional terms and conditions set by us or the car rental company supplied by your vehicle.
